Born in the Bronx and raised in Washington Heights, I am the first in my immediate family to work for corporate. I had to learn first hand how to navigate the corporate world without a compass and strategically ensure my skill set, experience and network developed in a way that continuously created opportunities for me. I learned how to get clear on my career goals and find opportunities that aligned with them.
Changing industries several times during my career journey has taught me how to strengthen my personal brand and articulate my expertise during the job search process.
As a recovering People Pleaser, I battled with insecurities, limiting beliefs, and Imposter Syndrome.
